About Us

Northwest Ohio Community Outreach (NWOCO) is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring dignity, purpose, and stability in the lives of individuals and families facing hardship.

Founded in Northwest Ohio, NWOCO exists to serve those who are often overlooked or underserved — including youth, veterans, displaced workers, and individuals navigating economic, social, or personal challenges. Our mission is rooted in the belief that meaningful work, practical skills, and supportive relationships are essential to personal restoration and long-term independence.

Through integrated life-skills training, vocational education, workforce development, and community partnerships, NWOCO helps individuals move from instability toward self-sufficiency. We focus on forming the whole person — personally, professionally, morally, and socially — by equipping participants with real-world skills, accountability, and opportunities to rebuild their lives with confidence.
