🙏 What Is This Program?

NWOCO’s Faith-Based Trades Program is not just a school—it is a ministry of hope, healing, formation, and private development.

We serve adults—men and women—especially those who are marginalized, in transition, or wounded—through a journey of restoration designed to:

  • Discover their God-given purpose

  • Rebuild their lives through dignified work

  • Serve others with the talents entrusted to them by God

  • Earn while they learn (for qualified, vetted participants)

This is more than an apprenticeship or private vocational training program.
It is a formation-based discipleship path where hands-on trade skills become instruments of spiritual renewal, personal growth, and lasting purpose.

Trades of Grace – Contractor Incubator Program

Building Independence Through Skilled Trades, Mentorship, and Entrepreneurship

The Trades of Grace – Contractor Incubator Program is a faith-based workforce development and entrepreneurial mentorship initiative operated through NWOCO and supported by NWTI.

This program was developed to help individuals facing financial hardship, life transition, underemployment, barriers to traditional education, or vocational uncertainty gain the practical skills, mentorship, business knowledge, and field experience necessary to build independent careers in the skilled trades and building maintenance industries.

Our mission is not to create employees, but to help participants develop the tools, discipline, knowledge, and confidence necessary to become self-sustaining independent trades professionals and small business owners.

🔨 Program Mission

The Contractor Incubator Program exists to:

  • Provide workforce mentorship and vocational guidance

  • Teach entrepreneurship and independent business development

  • Support pathways toward self-sufficiency and economic stability

  • Promote ethical trade practices and professionalism

  • Develop technical and soft skills through supervised mentorship

  • Encourage lawful, code-compliant, and safety-focused workmanship

  • Strengthen rural workforce development and community revitalization

The program is rooted in the belief that dignified work, mentorship, accountability, and practical education can restore confidence, purpose, and opportunity.1. Vocational Discipleship

Participants are mentored in character, responsibility, and spiritual identity while developing real-world trade skills.
The goal is to help each individual live out their God-given vocation in a Christ-centered, ethical, and community-serving way.

Program Structure

The Trades of Grace Contractor Incubator Program operates as a temporary mentorship and contractor development pathway designed to transition participants toward fully independent operation within their chosen skilled trade or building maintenance field.

Participants accepted into the program receive educational, mentorship, and business development support while operating as independent businesses.

The intended outcome of the program is the successful transition of participants into independently functioning trade contractors, building maintenance providers, or specialized skilled trades professionals.

“This is more than skill development. It’s the formation of men called to serve, lead, and build in the image of Christ.”
