A Mission of Service Through Education and Opportunity

At NWOCO, we believe every person is a child of God, created with dignity, purpose, and the potential to flourish.
Through free access to OJT Skills & enrichment training through our network of OJT providers and life skills education, we offer a hand of hope to those seeking a better tomorrow โ€” empowering individuals and families to grow in faith, confidence, and ability.

๐Ÿ”น NWOCO Skills Enrichment & Development Opportunities

At NWOCO, we believe in empowering individuals through skills development and hands-on learning.

We are proud to collaborate with licensed professionals and master tradespeople across various industries to offer real-world mentoring and on-the-job training (OJT) opportunities for individuals seeking to grow in practical life and trade skills.

When space allows, NWOCO may refer or introduce individuals to licensed partners for skills-based learning experiences.
These opportunities are designed for personal and professional growth and are offered based on availability within partner organizations.

Participation in OJT opportunities is voluntary and intended for personal development purposes.
Participants may receive documentation of hours completed for their own records, but no professional licenses or certifications are issued through these programs.

Important Notice:
Current OJT and mentoring opportunities are for personal skills development only.
Participation does not confer licensure, certification, or guarantee employment.

๐Ÿ”น Future Vocational Training

Through our partnership with the Northwest Training Institute (NWTI), NWOCO is excited to support future pathways for vocational education.
NWTI is actively pursuing formal approvals and certifications through the Ohio State Board of Career Colleges and Schools (SBCCS) to offer approved vocational skills training programs in designated trades fields.

Once fully approved, these programs will provide structured training aligned with state standards for vocational education.

We look forward to offering expanded skills opportunities through this partnership and will share updates as new programs become available!

How Your Donation Makes a Difference
  • Hands-On Skills Training: Your gift provides tools, equipment, and materials to enable par-time students to learn valuable OJT trades, life skills, and business basics through our mentoring program.

  • Expanded Opportunities: With your help, we can offer more classes, upgrade our technology, and create new pathways for hope and success through participating professionals.

  • Strengthening Communities: As individuals grow in ability and confidence, entire families and neighborhoods are transformed through their perseverance.

  • Restoring Dignity and Purpose: Your support offers more than education โ€” it offers a new beginning anchored in faith, dignity, and perseverance.

Empowering the Next Generation

At the heart of our mission is a special focus on Youth Outreach.
We believe that when we equip young people with real-world skills, positive mentorship, and a faith-filled environment, we give them more than a future career โ€” we give them a future filled with hope.

Through NWOCOโ€™s youth training initiatives, we:

  • Offer Personal Enrichment Opportunities and access to participating professional partners: Introduce teens and young adults to new skills in business, computer literacy, and entrepreneurial pathways.

  • Provide Safe, Purpose-Driven Spaces: Our programs give youth a place to grow, learn, and find belonging โ€” keeping them off the streets and away from destructive influences.

  • Foster Leadership and Character: Rooted in the values of faith, service, and perseverance, we help young men and women build the foundations of strong, virtuous lives.

  • Build Bridges to Brighter Futures: Whether entering the workforce, starting their own business, or continuing their education, our youth emerge better prepared for a life toward higher education, contribution and purpose.

When you donate, you invest not just in a program โ€” you invest in the next generation of leaders, builders, and believers.
