Northwest Ohio Community Outreach (NWOCO) is a faith-based, 508(c)1(a)charitable organization established to serve the community through acts of mercy, training, and outreach. NWOCO operates under the guidance of its founders, Board of Trustees, and a team of trusted advisors who oversee and support its mission with integrity and dedication.

Apostolic Leadership Council
Board of Trustees & Spiritual Advisors of NWOCO and St. Joseph Commons
Guided by the Holy Spirit and under the patronage of St. Joseph, this leadership council stewards the mission, formation, and outreach of the apostolate with unity, integrity, and faith.
Nicholas B. Getzinger Jr. – Founder, Volunteer Educator & Apostolic Director of Mission
Founder and mission director overseeing the spiritual, structural, and strategic direction of NWOCO and its integrated apostolic works. Nick leads the collaborative vision, operations, and long-term planning of the apostolate.
Tracy L. Getzinger – Co-Founder, Volunteer Business Advisor & Educator
Co-founder and trusted steward of internal records, financial accountability, and administrative oversight. Tracy also serves as a mentor in small business education and professional development, supporting the apostolate’s operational and teaching efforts with clarity and compassion.
Ryan Sawyer – Lead Trustee & Guardian of Apostolic Unity
The primary board leader under the founders, Ryan ensures continuity, communication, and spiritual alignment across all efforts. A committed steward of the apostolate’s vision, he brings unity and balanced counsel to all facets of the mission.
Harold Nelson – Chief Financial Officer & Advisor for Integrity and Safety
Responsible for oversight of financial systems and safety practices, Harold provides trusted accountability and operational clarity to protect the apostolate’s mission and ensure compliance, stewardship, and risk awareness.
Jeff Spitnale – Entrepreneurial Advisor & Construction Specialist
An expert in trades and business development, Jeff contributes oversight and hands-on insight into the physical growth of the apostolate. He mentors emerging tradesmen and advises on construction projects and property stewardship.
John Yockey – Educational Advisor & Servant-Leader of Formation
As a guide for educational outreach and character formation, John supports the apostolate’s teaching ministry and helps lead the way in training, service, and lifelong discipleship rooted in faith.
Kirk Ross, JD. – Legal Advisor & "Men of Virtue Apostolate" Co-Leader
Kirk serves as the apostolate’s legal advisor and co-leader of the Men of Virtue Ministry alongside Deacon Dave. With professional expertise and a heart for evangelization, he strengthens the mission through legal clarity, spiritual conviction, and leadership formation.
Spiritual Advisory Team
Deacon Dave Krempec – Clerical Advisor & "Men of Virtue Apostolate" Ministry Leader
A permanent deacon of the Diocese of Toledo, Deacon Dave provides spiritual oversight, liturgical support, and ecclesial unity to the apostolate. He also leads the Men of Virtue Ministry, fostering spiritual renewal and faithful leadership among Catholic men.
Michael Okrageleski, OFS – Franciscan Advisor & Minister of Lay Spirituality
As a professed Secular Franciscan and minister of the St. Paschal Baylon Fraternity, Michael brings Franciscan values of humility, simplicity, and joyful service to the heart of the mission, offering spiritual direction and formation support.
The Board of Trustees provides governance, oversight, and strategic counsel to ensure that NWOCO’s charitable, educational, and outreach efforts remain faithful to its founding mission.

Youth Formation Advisor & Mentor of Generations
Kevin Hertzfeld is a seasoned educator, mentor, and Catholic youth ministry leader whose life has been devoted to shaping hearts and minds for Christ. With decades of experience in both public education and parish-based formation, Kevin brings wisdom, joy, and deep pastoral insight to his work with young people.His ministry is marked by a gift for connecting with youth at every stage of life, helping them discover their identity in Christ and their role in the Church. A natural teacher and spiritual father, Kevin has guided countless young men and women through formation, faith struggles, and vocational discernment. His leadership is rooted in prayer, faithful catechesis, and an unwavering commitment to the next generation of the Church.
Now partnering with NWOCO and St. Joseph Commons, Kevin continues his mission by helping develop youth programming, retreats, and vocational pathways that integrate faith, life skills, and discipleship. His mentorship remains a vital pillar in forming a remnant of resilient, faith-filled youth prepared to lead with courage and conviction.
NWOCO operates as a private religious association under the protection of the First Amendment and the applicable provisions of the Internal Revenue Code for religious and charitable organizations. Trustees, advisors, and ministry leaders serve voluntarily, offering their time, talents, and professional experience in support of the organization's mission.
